A blockchain is a database that is shared across a network of computers. Once a record has been added to the chain it is very difficult to change. To ensure all the copies of the database are the same, the network makes constant checks. Blockchains have been used to underpin cyber-currencies like bitcoin, but many other possible uses are emerging.

Principal

Requires 2 exams (Exam 1 - Blockchain Technical and Exam 2 - - Blockchain management) be taken and passed at 70% or higher. Also requires significant impact to the industry and adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.

Professional/Executive Management

Requires 2 exams (Exam 1 - Blockchain Technical and Exam 2 - - Blockchain management) be taken and passed at 70% or higher. Also requires 4-day workshop attendance and adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.

Professional/Mastery
Requires 2 exams (Exam 1 - Blockchain Technical and Exam 2 - - Blockchain management) be taken and passed at 70% or higher. Adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.

Associate/Practititoner
Requires one of 2 exams be taken (Exam 1 - Blockchain Technical and Exam 2 - Blockchain management) be taken and passed at 50% or higher. Adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.

Foundation
Requires one exam be taken (Exam 1 - Blockchain Technical) and passed at 50% or higher. Adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.
