Certified Business Intelligence Professional* (CBIP*)

(BI) is an umbrella term that includes the applications, infrastructure and tools, and best practices that enable access to and analysis of information to improve and optimize decisions and performance. BI represents the tools and systems that play a key role in the strategic planning process within a corporation. These BI systems allow a company to gather, store, access and analyze corporate data to aid in decision-making. *CBIP is a registered trademark by TDWI

Professional/Mastery

Requires three exams be taken (90 minute exam on IS Core or 90 minute Business Core and the Data Foundations Exam. The third exam is by track - Leadership & Management; Data Analyatics; Data Analysis and Design; Data Intergration) and passed at 70% or higher. Adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.

Associate/Practitioner

Requires three exams be taken (90 minute exam on IS Core or 90 minute Business Core and the Data Foundations Exam. The third exam is by track - Leadership & Management; Data Analyatics; Data Analysis and Design; Data Intergration) 50% or higher. Adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.

In addition, all certifications require the following prerequisites listed below:

Professional/Executive Management

Requires a 4-day workshop be attended on Data. Adherence to the ICCP Code of Ethics.
